I thought I remembered something about a connection between you and Portugal!
Yes, I am going to Oporo (or Porto, depending what book you reference) to give a paper at an Irish conference.
I am hoping that most people speak english, otherwise, I am going to learn some basic phrases. Like "no tripe for me, thanks!" Since Porto is known for its tripe.

Yes, I am 100% Portuguese. But even I don't like the food. Definitely stay away from the tripe! I can tell you thanks is "obrigado," but otherwise I don't know how to say that.
